About Me
Angelina Octavia is a self-taught artist who has never lived beyond Oregon’s Willamette Valley, a place where endless rain and towering fir trees define the landscape. Working primarily in oils and watercolors, she draws deep inspiration from the region’s flora and fauna—a bond that has been profoundly shaped by raising her children beneath the forest’s canopy.
In April 2025, she published her first book, Leap. The book reflects one of the bravest decisions of her life: taking a leap to pursue her dream of becoming an artist and creating a better life for herself and her kids in 2020. A big part of her inspiration for the book also comes from raising her son, who has autism. Now, three years as a full-time artist, she inspires other mothers-especially those raising kids with autism-to believe in a brighter
future.
