Trillium Lake provides the best of view of the south side of the gorgeous Mt. Hood. Truly breathtaking if you can make it on a day that’s clear so the mountain is in view and not covered by clouds. But if you can’t visit in person, here’s a print for the meantime or to capsulate the memory of your visit!
This piece was originally painted on a 3ft x 4ft canvas and painted live at the 2025 Kiwanis non-profit auction event. Using the skills I’ve developed through the years, I completed it (start to finish) in three hours. Then for the grand finale, it’s auctioned off at the end of the event. It raised a few grand, helping provide clothing and school supplies for the children in Yamhill county.
